Tres LA

Tres LA catered our wedding at Cielo Farms a few weeks ago, and WOW. Not only was the food phenomenal (omg you have to have the miso glazed cod), but the entire team was so amazing to work with. We mostly worked with Kelsie and Avery, and since my husband and I did most of the wedding planning ourselves, we were (happily) in constant communication with them regarding food, bar, amount of glassware and table top rentals, etc. They really truly helped us navigate all that is planning a wedding - we are so grateful to have worked with them!

Also, as much of a blur as the actual day was, I just remember that their onsite team was PHENOMENAL. Literally top tier service. The food, the team, the onsite staff - I wish I could give them more stars!!

Tres LA catered our wedding at Cielo Farm and absolutely blew us away with both the quality of their food and their service. We mainly worked with Rob Pausmith, who is so great he probably deserves a review of his own. Rob was with us every step of the way, but I'll focus on Tres LA here.

In terms of the food - this was not just good for "wedding food," Tres LA could compete with the top restaurants in Los Angeles. From the appetizers to the main course, everything is presented beautifully and tastes even better. We also had a few guests with food allergies and Tres LA went above and beyond to accommodate them and make sure every guest at our wedding could enjoy the delicious food.

Even with the incredibly high quality of the food, it is the service that really sets Tres LA apart. Leading up to the wedding, we had tons of questions and went through several iterations of the menu. Tres LA always responded promptly and helped answer any questions we had, providing helpful guidance along the way. Kelsie Hendrix was our main point of contact on emails and she was great to work with. On the day of, the service was, of course, amazing. Everyone from Tres LA was great, everything was served on time, and they even had a server dedicated to my wife and I who made sure we always had everything we needed. That was a great touch which we really appreciated.

We got married at one of Tres LA's properties back in October. I can't even begin to tell you how professional and overall great the entire Tres LA company is. We worked with Jen the majority of our time. Planning to the actual day was smooth sailing!

They make panning a wedding so easy. Along with how on top of everything they are, their food is the best! I got so many compliments on our wedding food! Especially their truffle Mac and cheese. To this day, people are still asking me if I can get it from some place.

My guests loved their staff. They always made sure their glasses and plates were full. I didn't have to think about anything during my wedding because they had everything covered. They are a well oiled machine with lost of experience.

My husband and I had Tres LA for our wedding this past weekend. They were the preferred vendor for our wedding venue so we did not have much of a choice. I was nervous about the food we would have at our wedding given we only had one option for caterers. My worries were completely erased when we had the tasting. The food we tasted was some of the best food I have every had in my life. I spent the 3 months in between our tasting and our wedding thinking about the food I was going to have. We enjoyed our tasting so much, my husband and I ordered an extra entrée for ourselves to have.

The actual day of the wedding was perfect. The appetizers during our cocktail hour were just as good as I remembered when we had our tasting. In addition to serving amazing appetizers, they spent the time to make sure every plate looked elegant. Dinner was also as good as I remembered from the tasting. We had so many friends and family members comment on how amazing dinner was.

The Servers provided by Tres LA were also top notch. They moved through our wedding smoothly and were attentive to all our guests needs. My husband and I had the pleasure of having Julia look after us. She didn't hesitate to bring us and our wedding party appetizers after our ceremony. She checked in on us just enough to make sure we had what we needed but not so much as to distract from us enjoying the night.

At the end of the day, I am so grateful we had Tres LA as our caterers. They went above and beyond my expectations. I have to give a special shout out to Rob. He was accessible and helped me through the stresses involved in planning a wedding. He went out of his way to help me feel supported.

Not only is the venue gorgeous, but the food is absolutely amazing. All 130 of our guests raved about the meal, as well as the unique touches the venue has to offer.

I definitely recommend this catering company/venue.

I recently got married at the Ebell of Long Beach and had the pleasure of working with Jen from Tres LA. I've been to a lot of events and this is hands down, the BEST catered food I've ever had, if not one of the best meals I've had period. WOW, the food was absolutely incredible! Our guests were raving about the food and the service the entire evening. I've also included our menu below if anyone's curious.

Also a huge shoutout to the bartenders for making such fancy and tasty cocktails. I went in expecting some basic mixes and was absolutely blown away by the craftsmanship of these bartenders. Thank you so much for helping make it such an enjoyable evening, Tres LA!

I worked with Jen at Ebell for my wedding who was always super friendly and answered all of my million questions, and I received nothing but compliments on food from start to end. They also did a wonderful job on the drinks, I received a lot of good words on the bartender!

I didn't get to take a lot of pictures of the food but I chose the following menu for plated:
Appetizers:
1) Duck Confit with crisp sweet potato cake & sour cherry compote
2) House Cured Salmon and truffled potato cone with creme fraiche & caviar
3) Aged st andre cheese with port/fig chutney, cardamom scented pears & caramelized chestnut honey
4) maine lobster roll with lemon mayo on brioche
5) mini chicken & waffles with honey-scallion slaw & maple-sriracha sauce
6) duo of salt roasted beets w/ goat cheese panna cotta, balsamic puree, and hazelnut tuille

Salad:
baby spinach with poached pear/candied walnuts in balsamic honey dressing + stilton cheese (highly recommended!!! the best salad I've ever had)

Entrees:
Beef: pan seared beef tenderloin with roasted garlic mashed potatoes/golden beets/asparagus with bordelaise sauce
Fish: seared bass with roasted zucchini/carrots/parsnips with pommes puree/truffled spinach sauce
Veg: vegan lasagna

Desserts:
1) Assorted mini cupcakes - salted caramel
2) Icebox Shots: Lemon Lavender (my absolute favorite...I think I ate a dozen)
3) Creme Brulee
4) I requested a specific shortbread cookie recipe they were able to make!

Tres LA is one of those caterers where you can pick anything for your menu and it'll be great. Unless you have a very important/personal reason for bringing your caterer, I would highly recommend Tres LA especially if you're going with Carondelet or Ebell Long Beach for venue.

Having fantastic food at our wedding was something we wanted from the start. When our wedding planner recommended Tres LA we knew we had to use them. Their food was the best wedding food we have ever had and we heard this from many guests too. From service, to appetizers, dinner, drinks everything was A++++. We are so happy we hired them to provide the food and the drinks for our wedding. They were so accommodating to everything we threw at them and we appreciated that so much. If you want the best wedding food and service, please hire Tres LA. You will not regret it.

During the wedding planning process, the most important vendor to me was the food. I have been to plenty of weddings before and have never been overly impressed with the food. I always thought that there was no way to have top tier food when you cook for so many people. I was dead wrong. TresLA has the best food. We are thrilled and so happy that we hired TresLA as our caterer for our wedding. The food came out just the way it was at the tasting and their service was top-notch. We were beyond impressed with TresLA. I cannot suggest TresLA enough if you are planning your own wedding.

We worked with Rob this past week for our absolutely stunning wedding at Cielo Farms, catered by TresLA. I cannot emphasize how many compliments we received on our catering and service. Most people dread wedding food -- but all of our guests felt like they had gone to an upscale five star meal. TresLA was the best choice for our catering. They are fantastic at what they do, professional, and cater to unique requests too -- if you have a special meal (or first date meal) that you want on the menu, they are open to collaboration and excited to work together. Highly recommend!! Truly luxury service!!
