We had a couple of surprises planned but the dates and logistics haven’t quite lined up and we want to make sure that you have them.

BAFTA award winner Jenny Ryan chooses Charity for her 40th Birthday celebration, with an evening of variety at Clapham Grand for Choose Love

In Celebration of BAFTA winning The Chase’s Jenny Ryan’s 40th birthday, she is collaborating with the iconic Clapham Grand to put on a one-off night of pure unadulterated British Variety, with some of Jenny’s favourite performers on 29th May to support humanitarian charity Choose Love.
The extravaganza will feature stars of cabaret, stand up and stage including Drag Race UK’s break out star Choriza May, The Chase colleague Paul Sinha and her podcast co-host, stand up legend Lucy Porter, alongside names like Matt Richardson, Angela Barnes, The Voice semi-finalist Jordan Gray and live music provided by Amusical’s Dave Cribb and Dead Man’s Uke, plus a host of others. The event is being co-produced by stand up comic and host of smash hit ‘The Comedy Arcade’ podcast, Vix Leyton,

On why Jenny wanted to mark her birthday this way, she said: “As I’m usually known for being a crusher of dreams in my day job, I’m delighted to be using my powers for good for once! I’m so excited about this show – it’s going to be a humdinger. Bringing together some of my all-time favourite performers at the iconic Clapham Grand is the ideal way to celebrate my milestone birthday – and to be able to partner with Choose Love to support their incredible work while we’re having fun is the icing on the the birthday cake!”
