I’m a city girl—born and raised. A towering high-rise that overlooks the hustle and bustle is where my future should lead. Living in farm country? That possibility never had a place on my bucket list. Until now.

Bumping into Reeve Colton—local bachelor and shameless flirt—on my introductory stroll down Main Street is a pleasant surprise. The small-town charm of Bampton Valley begins sinking in that afternoon. Maybe this temporary relocation is a blessing in disguise.

What starts as a bit of fun becomes complicated in a hurry. It turns out Reeve and I have more in common than our mutual appreciation for good barbecue.

But that won’t change the inevitable.
When my contract is done, I’ll be leaving him—and Bampton Valley—behind.

Snark, angst, and passion fill the pages of this beautiful book! Harloe is starting 2021 on a hot note and I am here for it!

Reeve and Audria didn’t plan on one another! Ha Audria didn’t plan to end up in a tiny town but their meet cute lead to a friendship that gave into desire and had these two falling hard and fast! But fear is real and the unknown can drive us to do things we didn’t mean to! As both try to figure out the future they have to ask Is love worth the risk?

This is one of the swooniest books I have ever read! Reeve is all about smooth words but it’s in his actions where he speaks loudest! What makes this book even more of a must is the constant laughter! I have never read such a snarky heroine! Her quick whips and friend quotes had me rolling! It’s not just her either! I have to say this small town packs heavy charm and you won’t want to leave! I hope to see more of these characters because I am obsessed with this tiny town and it’s residents!

5 LOVED UP STARS!!!

Harloe blew me away with the swooniest, sexiest, slow burn, small town romance. The chemistry between this couple was an absolute inferno of emotion and attraction. I loved every word. This couple delivered in every way, from the banter to the sexual tension that sizzled right off the pages. Reeve is the definition of a swoony book boyfriend.

Audria is new in town. Fresh out of college and starting her first job away from everyone she knows, in a another state. Bampton Valley is a small town where farming is a way of life. She plans on taking on her teaching job with gusto for the year and then heading back home to her life. She never plans on finding forever.

Reeve is a farmer. Born and raised in Bam and has no intention of ever living anywhere else. He loves his small town life...until he meets his city girl.

The sweetest meet cute will bring these two together. Audria and Reeve are immediately drawn to one another. Their connection is intense. She's only in Bam for a year, so their time is limited. No strings. Just loads of fun and memories to cherish.

Reeve delivers the swoon like it's his job! The man is the king of romance when it comes to the dates he takes Audria on. Cue the laughter and the unforgettable moments. Gah...I LOVED HIM. It was so easy to be swept off my feet. The author made loving this couple effortless. They will embrace their time together but the looming deadline is going to tear them apart. Reeve will have to go all in if he wants to get the girl and Audria will need to decide if the country boy is worth giving up on her city loving life.

An absolute must read for any romance lover! This is my favorite book by the author and she left me with a major book hangover. So deliciously sexy and heartstoppingly tension filled that I enjoyed every word. This couple became a favorite as they found their way and lived the perfect HEA. Get swept up in this small town romance because everyone deserves a Reeve in their life.

description

Audria

I glance at his sneakers. “What’s your opinion on cowboy boots?”

“Everyone should own a pair.” The statement rolls off his tongue like an indisputable fact.

I tuck a lock of hair behind my ear. “Never have I ever.”

“Oh, are we playing?” That sinful grin tilts higher.

The heat coiling inside me cranks hotter. “I was just stating a fact.”

“Next time we’re at the Salt Lick, it’s on.”

“That game is definitely more entertaining with copious amounts of liquor.” I tip the beer to my lips.

“Especially with your lewd frame of mind.”

“Ha, you’re hilarious.”

“And you’re the one who coined CornHub.”

I pick at some lint on the blanket. “You’ve got me there.”

“I appreciate your wild and adventurous spirit.” The gleam in his gaze returns.

A twitch crooks at the corner of my lips. Volleying with an equally sweet comment is a seamless move. Instead, I allow a trickling melody of silence to dance between us.

Reeve peers over at me. “Any interest in going to a football game?”

I knit my brows. Attending a sporting event had occurred to me as an option. I didn’t know where to begin with possibilities, though. “Iowa doesn’t have a pro team.”

“Damn, you’re cute.” He chuckles and lightly nudges me in the ribs. “I meant high school.”

And now I want to hide behind a tree. “Ah, that makes more sense.”

“Certainly does. So, wanna go?”

“Yeah, absolutely. I’m a fan of the game. Did you ever play?”

“Offensive line. I was a tight end,” he explains.

“No past tense about that,” I whisper.

“If that does something for you, I still have my jersey.”

“How about the stretchy pants?”

“Ball huggers,” Reeve corrects.

“Yeah,” I purr.

It might be my imagination, but he seems to bend closer. The blue in his eyes swirls with tiny specks of green. The usually cool combination sparks with fire. His hand barely brushes mine, but an unmistakable tingle zaps up my arm. Rather than retreating, he traces the center of my palm with his finger. This type of touch—whether by accident or very much on purpose is irrelevant—steps our harmless flirting up several notches. I suck in a sharp breath, and he notices.

Reeve shifts a safe distance away, taking his warmth with him. The absence of his touch is an immediate loss. His gaze burns into me, vivid depths swirling with undeniable want that I’m positive reflects in my own eyes. He leans in, ghosting the tip of his nose across my cheek. I tremble and tilt into him.

“You’re so beautiful,” he whispers.

I lick my bottom lip, preparing to eliminate this invisible barrier separating us once and for all.

4.25 Stars!

Really enjoyed this one! Sweet, light-hearted, cute, funny, less angsty, and all are exactly what I've been looking for right now. The hero was a sweetheart and I absolutely adored him, which is just one thing I can count on Harloe to deliver, a swoon-worthy hero who actually deserves the heroine 👏. I also loved all the country vibes and how unique this one is from her other small town books. She definitely knows how to do small town books justice where the characters are all so different and new, and all have their own story to tell.

At times, although the banter was entertaining, I do wish there was a bit less of it because I felt like it did take away some of the feeeelllss for me, and I actually wished we had more of Gavin because he was hilarious and definitely my favorite side character (the bar scene LOL😂). But other than that, I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait to see what Harloe cooks up next!

2.5 stars!

Leave Him Loved had such great potential, but for me, it fell short at the end. It’s the first time I’ve read a book where the hero and heroine have such strong chemistry, and clear attraction to one another, but for no reason at all, choose not to act on it for so long, which meant I was left frustrated and annoyed because there was never an explanation.

Audria moves from Minneapolis, to a tiny town in Iowa for her first teaching job. She’s a true city girl, so takes a while to adjust to the country life, but it’s helped by the tall gorgeous farmer she runs into on her first day in town. Reeve is instantly drawn to the pretty out of towner but quickly puts the brakes on anything romantic happening between them, despite their chemistry. They decide to be friends, as Audria is only in town for the school year and start spending time together. After months of flirtation and small touches, they deicide to change to a friend with benefits situation, and feelings quickly develop, although they hide them from each other. Will Audria ever want to trade in the city life for a small town for good?

The build up to this relationship was so well done, you could feel the chemistry between Audria and Reeve coming off the page, despite the fact he put a block on anything more happening so early on. I loved their never ever dates, and their flirty friendship meant that they knew each other on a deeper level than just diving into a friends with benefits situation. Neither wanted a relationship, and it was clear why to begin with because of Audria’s time being limited in town, but when feelings began to get involved, she no longer saw that as a problem. In fact, she was never opposed to a relationship really, the main issues always stemmed from Reeve. While I liked his honesty at the start, how he didn’t want to lead her on, and I am all for people not dating just because they don’t want to, but his internal feelings didn’t reflect his actions. Because of this, I was waiting for the big reveal at the end, maybe something had happened in Reeve’s past that meant he was scared of relationships, or having had something happened which meant he didn’t believe in love, but nothing ever came. I was left frustrated and it meant I never felt truly connected to the couple, specifically Reeve because I just couldn’t understand his actions.

There were some aspects of this book, I loved the small-town vibe, and I did like Audria’s character but wasn’t a fan of Reeve. Audria’s friendships were great too, her friends from college all have me intrigued for their own stories and I loved how easily she settled into small town life and was accepted by the citizens. I really liked Reeve’s best friend Gavin, I feel like he has a story too, and it was all going so well until their friends with benefits relationship happened. Finally, the ending left me feeling a bit like I’d been sold short on something, Reeve did a complete 180, once again with no explanation, so I never got behind their reunion. I have really liked Harloe’s books in the past, and loved the first half of this one, but by the end, Leave Him Loved just wasn’t the one for me.

After graduating college, Audria is desperate to get a teaching position straight out of school, but her luck runs short. She ends up getting a temporary position at an elementary school in a town she’s never heard of—Bampton Valley, Iowa. Audria’s a city girl through & through but she can do anything for a year, right?

On her first day in town, Audria literally runs into the town’s most eligible bachelor, Reeve, who’s lived there his whole life. They immediately hit it off and become fast-friends, although it’s clear there’s attraction between them.

But before long, Audria & Reeve can’t deny their chemistry and dive headfirst into a whirlwind romance. When Audria’s year is up, will Reeve be a permanent fixture in her life or the one who got away?

Leave Him Loved by Harloe Rae is a city girl meets country boy, small town romance. I love romances where a woman just so happens to live in a small town, falling in love with a local & all the townspeople. And while the premise of this made me a sucker, the execution of the romance fell flat for me. I feel like Audria & Reeve became friends too quickly after meeting and they acted like they knew each other for year. Also I didn’t understand how Reeve was the town’s most eligible bachelor, as that wasn’t much of a plot point outside of the synopsis. There were lots of time jumps too that didn’t make much sense. If you’re into fun steamy scenes, there was a hot tractor rendezvous! I think a lot of the dates Reeve planned for Audria were cute too! Overall a sweet romance but it didn’t knock my socks off. 3/5 stars.

I love how unique each of this author's books feel; they all have completely different vibes, so I never know what to expect going in. That means that certain releases resonate with me more than others, and this particular one wasn't a great fit - for me. It's still a solid small town romance with a relationship that builds along the way, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I had hoped. I'm not a huge fan of couples who are convinced that they can keep feelings out of the equation, especially for the length of time this story encompasses. But I did love all of the dialogue, the playful tone, and the definite small town feel.

The story follows Audria, a woman who finds herself living in a rural community for a year. Audria's teaching assignment is in the last place she'd hope to live, but this city girl is willing to deal with the farm town - at least temporarily. Which means the immediate attraction she feels to hometown hottie, Reeve, is all kinds of problematic. The good news? He's not interested in catching feelings either. While the two agree to keep things platonic, that's easier said than done as the sparks continue to fly between them.

My favorite part of the book is all of the dialogue, and the easy conversation that flows between Audria and Reeve. They've got some great chemistry, and there are some seriously steamy moments in here. It's not so much a slow burn as it is instalust that's held back until these two finally give in. I would've liked a little more buildup and don't think that the pacing did this any favors. Since Audria is in town for a year, the book spans several months, and we sometimes miss days or weeks where there were significant changes to the relationship or moments that could've been developed better. That paired with Audria and Reeves' continued insistence that they'd be able to sever ties without heartache left me feeling a little disconnected. The writing is solid overall, and I enjoyed the story as a whole, but I can't say that it's one of my favorites from the author. I received an early copy and am voluntarily leaving a review of this small town romance.

Wow. Wow. Wow. I'm so in love...with Reeve, with Audria, with this world. Leave Him Loved was all the things I love about Harloe Rae's addicting stories and then some. I am such a sucker for "fish out of water" storylines and this one hit all the right buttons for me. An unforgettable meet-cute, a sexy hot swoony Hero, a sizzling slow burn, hilarious banter, and all the freaking feels. This is a MUST READ!!

HOLY SMOKES...This was the hottest trip to the country I've ever took!

Leave it to Harloe Rae to create a farmer that is hot, sexy, and oh so swoony. Believe me when I say that you will definitely want to take this man's tractor for a spin! 😉🔥

When her job at a posh academy falls through, Audria takes a temporary teaching position at a school in rural Bampton Valley, Iowa. A city girl thru and thru, Audria can deal with the country life for a short time while she contemplates the next move in her career. The thing is, she's starting to get taken with this small town and a certain farmer who's working his way into her heart...

Reeve Colton is a simple man. Born and raised in BAM his roots are deep in the town, family, friends, and his life as a farmer. When Audria quite literally knocks him on his a** at the local grocery store, he finds the new school teacher to be amusing, tempting, and irresistible. Their time is limited, and a no strings, friends with benefits relationship is all he can offer her. With Audria's deadline looming, will Reeve decide to go all in to get the girl of his dreams before she slips away forever....

GAH, this book was so GOOD! It was fun, charming, hilarious, and so very steamy! A slow burn that practically ignites into flames! Seriously, the interactions between Reeve and Audria were like a slow dance of sensual foreplay. Steamy moments that were intimate, intense, and so DAMN HOT!
Gavin, Audria's gal pals, and the residents of BAM brought the additional humor and charm to the overall story.

To say that I liked this book would be an extreme understatement. I FREAKING LOVED IT!! This is a book that will not only steal your heart but, your panties as well! NO JOKE! 😍❤

This book is a MUST READ that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND putting this on your TBR and doing it NOW! Go and take a trip to Bampton Valley you'll so thank me later 😘

I fell so hard for this book and its main characters, Reeve and Audria. These opposites could not have been more perfect for each other. I would call this a slow burn romance and as such you have to be willing to put in the time. I'm going to be honest here and say sometimes the wait was so excruciatingly hard and that was simply because the second these two cross paths, you could feel an almost elemental pull of attraction and bear witness to the blazing sizzle of sparks. Toss in snappy banter and a barrage of innuendo laden puns that only serve to add more fuel to this powder keg that you just knew was ticking down to the moment of combustion. The author wastes zero time in making sure you are hooked and aching for more. You are fed a delightful and steady stream of moments of interaction between these two that are funny and filled with feeling. These serve the dual purpose of continually stoking this couple's simmering fire and as tasty cookie crumbs for the reader. These will keep you very happily traveling down the path that the storyline takes you but always leaves you craving more. I really liked Audria but I did have a few minor pet peeves with her. Reeve was absolutely incredible!! This man deserves to be a card carrying premier member of the Book Boyfriends Club. Hot, sweet and swoony enough to make your ovaries explode and have your panties melting, he will have you wanting to head to the country to see if you can find one just like him for yourself. Major amounts of emotion, humor, cuteness and hot steam are blended with some sweetness, drama and a hint of zany, to deliver a romance that steals your heart and leaves you smiling. I am posting an unbiased and unsolicited review.

Funny, I was just thinking it had been a while since I read a good cowboy romance, and then in swaggers Reeve Colton. Aside from taking an elbow to the gut when he first meets the new school teacher, he has stars in his eyes from their first encounter. But of course, he doesn’t do relationships and she's not planning on staying in small-town Iowa for more than the duration of her contract with the elementary school. So they'll just be friends. Right. Or maybe friends with benefits. Double right. With a sarcastic eye roll.

Big-city Audria loves everything about Minneapolis but when the teaching job she has lined up after college falls through, she finds herself headed to Brampton Valley, IA. Aside from meeting the hot cowboy/farmer on her first visit to the local grocery store, the people and charm of this small town are quickly working their way into her heart. Yes, even the town busy body.

Holy corn maze, these two are so freaking adorable together! From their never-have-I-ever dates to Audria's lightning-quick wit and their smexy banter, well, if I wasn’t laughing out loud I was grinning myself silly through most of these pages. Of course there's plenty of chemistry and heat, along with quite the bless-your-heart moment, which all makes for the very best kind of emotional journeys to ever after.

This talented writer has a flair for creating authentic characters that we wish we could be friends with and often recognize pieces of ourselves in, securing their place in our hearts that much more firmly and permanently. Paring that with an inviting, quirky setting that will have you packing your bags to move there makes this can’t-miss a must-read that you'll definitely want to start reading today!

I always love how unique Harloe's books are, and how no two are the same! It's quite rare to have that different range of voice in the romance land, and I'm all here for it. This one wasn't my absolute favorite of hers, but it did have some truly great moments!

This is the story of Audria and Reeve, who are very much into each other right away, but convince themselves that they aren't. Audria is only in town for a years time, so she doesn't want to start anything serious. Which is good, because that's the left thing Reeve wants too, right?

These two really do have an amazing connection with one another, but the spacing just felt so off. Because of Audria'a year time limit, the story revolves around that time, so i felt like we were missing key moments of their relationship that were glossed over or just skipped entirely. This is also kind of an Insta love/forced slow burn, and that didn't really work for me either. I wish we had more buildup to them, and at the same time I wished they didn't fight what they felt for each other as long as they did.

There were definitely some cute moments though! Their banter and steam were both out of this world, but my issues above were the reasons why I didn't connect with them like I wanted. Overall though, this is great addition to Harloe's romances!

When a sassy city girl arrives in a small country town life will never be the same.

Audria is a long way from home, literally and figuratively. She found a job teaching at an elementary school in a small Iowa town. One year is all the time she plans to spend there before heading back to her city life. The thing is, this small town has a lot going for it.

Reeve has lived in Bam his whole life. He loved the town and he loves his job. Running into Audria, the new girl in town, turns out to be amusing and tempting. He finds he can’t resist her humor and sass, so he offer friendship.

The thing is, as hard as they try, Audria and Reeve cannot deny the chemistry between them. Fireworks explode between them and after keeping things platonic for a few weeks, they make an arrangement. What follows is a sweet, sexy and often funny, adventure. When both of them start to feel more than they agreed to, signals get crossed, feelings get hurt, and they have to find a way back to one another, and figure your how to make a future together.'

I’ll never get tired of the city girl starting fresh in a small town.

Securing a full-time teaching position on a year contract, Audria gets cozy in Bampton Valley, a farming town of less than three thousand people, with the local crops manager, Reeve.

The banter between Audria and Reeve was my favourite part of this romance! Sarcastic humour speaks to me, and Audria was brimming with it. Both immediately attracted to each other, but knowing their time is limited with Audria eventually returning home to Minneapolis, a friends-with-benefits arrangement ensues.

From milking cows to riding tractors, their small-town adventures were hilarious but also incredibly romantic. The chemistry between them was strong and sizzling! And always on a mission to brighten her day, Reeve was such a sweet hero.

Spanning across an entire year, I did find there were missing gaps of time I would have preferred included. I wanted more moments to explore Reeve in his hometown. Much of the focus was on Reeve and Audria as a couple, which was great, but I wanted more moments of them solo to really capture his backstory before Audria entered his life. I liked this one, but I wanted more!

City girl Audria is in the country now, having arrived for a teaching job. She's only here for a year, though, then it's back to her beloved city life. But then something happens. On her first day, she meets a gorgeous country boy farmer, Reeve, and their connection, their chemistry, is instant. Will he give her a reason to stay forever or are they really just having no-strings fun as they said in the beginning?

Reeve loves his small country town. But when a gorgeous city girl enters his world and tilts it off its axis, it may just give him a reason to give city life a chance when she leaves in a year, if he doesn't mess it up in an unforgivable way.

I loved this city meets country and falls in love story. Reeve is a swoony ass bastard with his easy charm and gorgeous eyes. Audria is adorable and funny and the perfect city girl gone country. Their chemistry is hot and it's obvious to everyone that they are far more than just having fun. I grew up in the country, and now live in the big bad city, so it's easy for me to relate to the country vibe. It didn't make me want to move back to the country (God no 😮) but it did remind me of my childhood and that's always fun walking down memory lane. I wish there had been swoon guys like Reeve in my hometown, cuz if there had, I may not have had to move to the city to find my forever.

LEAVE HIM LOVED is just what it says: A SWOONY SMALL-TOWN ROMANCE. It starts out with a slow-burn, but when it catches fire it is blazing hot. There is plenty of chemistry between a gorgeous country boy from Bampton Valley, Iowa and the pretty girl from the Big City of Minneapolis.

The story starts out with Audria Griffin graduating from college. She thought she might have a job lined up to teach at a private school in the city. So, when that fell through, she found herself feeling lucky that she found a teaching job in Bampton Valley, Iowa. A small-town surrounded by corn fields, wheat fields and a whole lot of nothing. She accidentally elbowed a good looking man, right in his gut, on her first day in town. Reeve Colton was his name and he would end up making her temporary stay in Bampton a whole lot better. He had the blackest hair and the most beautiful blue eyes. He had a wink and a smile with dimples that would win over any girl he wanted. He was an outrageous flirt. He seemed to be just as taken with Audria as she was with him. She fast became Reeve's dream girl and he became her idea of a “perfect” boyfriend. Their only problem was a major one. Her teaching contract was a temporary one. When it ran out so did her time in Bampton. She would have to say goodbye to the town, and worst of all leave Reeve and her heart behind!

I wouldn't have thought the decision to stay or go would be so hard. Reeve took her on Never/Ever Dates to do things she never thought she would do or want to do. But he made it fun! He could play the guitar and sing. He wrote a song just for her. Their first kiss was the best she ever had, so you just knew he had other untried talents. They went from strangers to friends, then friends with benefits, to lovers that never want to say goodnight or goodbye. Was it really inevitable that she leave? Romance Book Readers here is a must read book for you.

Oh my goodness, Harloe knocked it out of the park once again with this sweet, sassy, sexy small-town romance with allllll the feels, y'all.

In this city girl meets country boy romance, Audria and Reeve collide with witty puns and conversations and enough sexual chemistry to light up a big city. Whew. From their stellar meet-cute to the months of flirty friendship (because they agreed on it), to the ultimate first kiss...gah, this story was everything!

I love Harloe's small-towns. She puts so much depth in side characters and the setting I want to live within the pages. This story had the laughter, swoon, and a tinge of heartbreak and then wraps up in the sweetest, sexiest ending. I adored both Reeve and Audria, although once again we have a couple who assumes, makes rapid decisions, and don't communicate, but at least this time they handled it quickly and without the drama.

This right here is why Harloe Rae is a one-click author of mine. I haven't read book of hers i haven't loved.

Feel good city girl meets country boy romance. Leave Him Loved is the perfect book to curl up with on a weekend. Low angst, low drama, plenty of sweet and swoony moments and Reeve Colton!

The moment Audria and Reeve run into each other there is a connection and there is chemistry. It all seems to just grow more and more as their story progresses and the more time they spend together. Audria believes her time in the small town is only temporary and she’ll find another job back in the city sooner than later, however, she doesn’t expect Reeve. Reeve didn’t expect to meet Audria either, but I love how he was with her and their dates! The man is swoony and just like the town of Bampton Valley, he is full of charm.

From Audria and Reeve to the town of Bampton Valley you’ll be falling in love with this story!

If you’re looking for a small town, strangers to lovers, super sweet and swoony romance this is one to read!

Leave him loved is a sweet tooth of a slow burn romance that will hook you from the first chapter.

Audria is a city girl who recently relocated to Bampton Valley for a teaching job where she runs into Reeve, a born and bred Bampton Valley local. Sparks fly right away with our couple and the small-town rumor mill is all over it. It seems that each of them has met their match but there is a time limit to Audria’s stay so Reeve suggests they just be friends. Now, really, does that ever work out? Lol

I love this couple. Their banter is spot on and I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time. You will laugh, cry and yell at this book – but in the end, you’ll be glad about it.

I hope we get to see more of these two and the host of side characters that we met.
Loved it!

Leave Him Loved is a sweet slow burn romance. I always enjoy Harloe’s writing and this book did not disappoint. A city girl meets a country boy and they quickly become the talk of the town. Audria is a city girl who has moved to the middle of no where to a small town far away from her family and friends. After meeting Reeve, they become fast friends. Their attraction to one another is instant. I love these characters and their banter will have you laughing. I hope to see more of these characters and their charming small town that you can’t help but fall in love with.

I've read this in one sitting and was blown away of how much I loved this story.
If there was ever a great read about "opposites attract" is this one.

This was a swoon fest from start to finish. For the friendship to something more it was filled with funny banter, laughter and sexy and swoony moments. You got to love a guy who will do anything for the one, even when he makes a mistake that seem to be too big to over come.

Once again I was blown away by Harloe Rae's style of writing and I can't wait to see what happens next in this small-town.

I adore Ms. Rae’s ability to draw the reader in from page one. The vivid descriptions in the prologue, of taste, touch and smell, set the scene for this beautifully written story to unfold.

Life’s too fast in so many novels these days. This isn’t a hot mess with insta love, it’s a well thought out plot with believable and extremely likable characters. It’s a true romance.

I loved Reeve with his stunning blue eyes and dark hair. The cover model fitting his character to perfection. Audria, out of her depth in a new town, alone for the first time fresh out of college. It’s the perfect small town romance read, probably one of the best I’ve read in a long time.

Hands down my favourite contemporary so far this year. It’s a celebration of life and love and all its goodness. Easy five stars plus!

I took a chance and downloaded this book because it was available in Prime reading, and it sounded fun!!! I really enjoyed it in the beginning - it had so many of my favorite things. Small town farm life. Farmer meets city girl, great banter. BUT, it really fell flat after about the 25% mark and continued to fall with each page. To the point I was forcing myself to read it.

Wow! What can I say about this book other than it is amazing! Audria is the city girl who has moved to the middle of nowhere small town, away from her friends and family. After meeting country boy Reeve at the local supermarket, they soon become fast friends. You cannot help but fall for Reeve from the first moment you meet him. Their attraction was instant, and the chemistry between these two was off the charts. This was a slow burn, sexy romance with plenty of attraction, heat and emotion, as well as the hilarious banter between Reeve and Audria, that had me laughing throughout. Yet again Harloe Rae has given us all the feels with this book. I loved it, and highly recommend this as a must read.
