The Legacy

This is book #5 in the Off-Campus series. This book should be read in the order listed. The characters and story will give spoilers if read out of order. We visit four couples who are dear to our heart in this amazing book. Logan & Grace, Dean & Allie, Garrett & Hannah as well as Tucker & Sabrina. We get to take a look at all of them, where they are and what plans are for the future. This book was a complete joy to read. Totally filled with funny, hot, and even crazy. I felt like this was an EPIC piece of their lives to enjoy. I read it all in one go - and I am already anxious to read it again. This is why the author is an absolute 1-click for me.

This book was so, so, so, so, so much fun!!! I listen while I am out for my walk, and I was chortling, laughing, and had the biggest smile for 90% of the story. This is a check in, a check up, a ‘how’s it going’ for our original 4 Briar U couples, though, some of our second set of BU hotties pop up in places as well. But the 4 interweaving, chronological stories are focused completely on Logan and Grace, Dean and Allie, Tuck and Sabrina, and close out with Garrett and Hannah. We find out what they have been up to and where they are with their coupledom now. Oh, and there is a running gag throughout each of the stories that is simply a hoot and a half. All the steam you would expect from these couples, all the laughs, but of course, all the depths of emotions. Each couple had me tearing up at some point, but they all feel like family, so that is to be expected. Loved, loved, loved, loved it <3

Nossos queridos personagens estão em momentos cruciais de suas vidas, tanto no âmbito pessoal quanto no profissional. O conto mais divertido é o que envolve a lua de mel de um dos casais. Tudo o que poderia dar errado, dá; parece um capítulo de Desventuras em Série! Já o conto mais sério do livro é o que envolve a gravidez inesperada de uma das personagens. Além da incerteza e da insegurança que vêm junto com a novidade, há uma outra questão que vem desde a série Amores Improváveis e que finalmente tem sua conclusão. Tucker segue sendo o personagem mais maduro dentre os amigos. Ele é o meu favorito dentre os rapazes e deu orgulho ver onde ele conseguiu chegar. Garrett, por sua vez, está um tanto quanto ranzinza. Há motivações por trás de seu mau humor, mas alguns de seus rompantes são extremamente infantis. Dean e Logan seguem na mesma vibe de antes, nada mudou. Apenas o epílogo deixa a desejar. Faltou uma grande reunião, algo para fechar o ciclo mesmo.
