Book 1 Ana Ashley, I have read several books by this author but not the series this one is attached to. I will be changing that after I finish this bundle. Troy and Lexi know each other from home, but one is keeping a huge secret. Troy has kept his distance from Alexi for years but the time has come for that too change. But will Lexi still be by his side or are his feelings too hurt to try things in the real world? How will their families react to this sudden change? Really loved this one, great start!

Book 2 BA Tortuga, I have been working my way through all of this authors titles. I never knew I how much I loved cowboy books till I started reading their books. Waylon has been tasked with the protection of a rodeo star turned musicians. Chayce was shot at while singing at a concert but that was not the scary part. Scary was he had to head home to see his momma and she was not going to be happy with the wound on his face. Chayce is not so thrilled that his momma has hired his new bodyguard, Waylon. How long will it take for Chayce to try and disappear on Waylon? Will there be more attempts on Chayce's life? Will they figure out who is doing it? Will Chayce's momma approve?

Book 3 Colette Davison, I have not read anything from this author before. This is another reason I LOVE these bundles to find like authors to follow. Bailey works for the Elite and is getting an offer of a marriage contract, for a year. He needs to decide if this will work for him or not. Harper has come up with a crazy idea. To get his mother to leave him alone he needs to find a husband. He hires the Elite to find the perfect guy for the job. How long will it take for them to realize it is more? Will they stay with the divorce after a year? Will Bailey show Harper the "poorer" side of life? How will Haper's parents react? Totally loved these two and again will have to read more of this author!

Book 4 Emily Silver, again a new to me author. While the first 3 books were MM this one is FF. We have Raven who is now running the company her grandparents started. They are happy she is doing it but want her to have a life as well. When she suddenly receives notice that a company she has wanted to buy forever is going up for sale. She needs to move fast and while reading the information she finds she will run into a problem. She needs to have a significant other and she does not. She asks for help from the Elite agency and does not meet with her suitor until they meet at the airport for their multiweek trip to Italy. Blair is doing the best she can with her job. She thought by now she would be a partner in the law office she had worked for but suddenly found herself raising her niece, Avi, and needed to be home more so she now works at a less stressful job. That means she is also making less money, when she gets call about this offer from the agency her coworker does not let her say no. Will Raven and Blair hit it off? Will they buckle when they find out they have to share one bed for three weeks? Will the current owners of the company figure out their story? Will the company matter or the relationship? How will Avi factor into their story?

Book 5 Erin Zak, FF Roberta has worked for the Elite for years. She is a party planner and a bar tender and is highly sought after for her work. She is being asked to sign a nda for her next job but she can be told anything about what it is before she has to agree to sign. Luckily she trusts the company and goes ahead to sign it and finds she will be doing a job for the newest pop star. Alison is wanting to through a masquerade party after the end of her tour. She is hiding the biggest of secrets and this part will be one way for her to let loose. She asked for Roberta specifically because she knows Roberta's ex partner. Very soon Roberta learns the secret that Alison is hiding and wonders just what she is in for. Will Roberta give in to Alison? Will Alison share when she first saw Roberta? How will Roberta's team react to what happens?

Book 6 Frances M. Thompson, FFF. A married couple calls on the Elite for a chef to make a special meal for them Wren and Amara are having issues. Their relationship is in a make a break spot and they need to talk about it but will they. Katja is a chef and gets a desperate message from Elite to see if she can cover an appointment. The chef they had booked bailed and they are desperate for Katja to cover. After getting there and meeting the "married" woman Katja realizes this is more than just any dinner. She can tell the couple is in dire straights and in need of help. Will Wren explain to Katja what is wrong? Will Katja take over the dinner and make the two talk? Will the three of them do more than talk? Can Katja find the home she was always looking for? Very hot steamy story of understanding what each other needs and how to go about getting what they all need.

Book 7 Jax Calder, MM Liam gets hired by Elite to a be a fake boyfriend for a ceo for week on an island vacation. When he agrees there is a mix up in Liam receiving the proper information. When he finds its his classmate, one that he did not get along so well with. Liam (William) was the jock and popular kid in school, Matthew was the smart one and the two lined up against each other for years to come. Matthew needing the boyfriend decides he will use Liam for one night and they will fake an emergency and he will have to go back home. But at the first night activities Liam is the perfect boyfriend and Liam can tell Matthew needs the help. Some of the members of Matthews company do not treat him well so Liam offers to stay. Together and separately these two men think back to their childhood and all the mean things they did to each other. They made each other's lives miserable from almost day one, (not going to lie some of the things they did/said to each other were hard to read). However they soon realize knowing each other so well they are succeeding at the fake relationship. How long will it take before they realize it is more? Will Matthew's coworkers figure out they are not real?

Book 8 Jodi Payne,MM Dusty is heading to an awards show and an escort was hired for him. Cameron did not know who was hiring him but the Elite agency contacted him for his next job. When he showed up at the home to meet his date he was STUNNED to see it was for Dusty. Dusty was his ex and they did not have a great breakup. Dusty does not want to continue on with the farce but is told Cameron will be seen and not heard and he is forced to go along with the plan. However as soon as they get to the award show reporters start talking to Cameron much to Dusty's displeasure. Eventually the two relax to a flow and when Dusty wins more attention is thrown on the two. Luckily Cameron is up to the task and the two men realize they could still see why they both fell for each other. Will things be better the next morning between the two? Will Cameron's job get in the way? Will people figure out that they were not together at the awards show?

Book 9 Kelex, MM/FF Kellan is a trapped married man. He and his wife Emma grew up together and got married to hide their real lives. However now that Emma's family has passed away she is the one in charge of it all. She now wants to get a divorce and live with her girlfriend. She wants Kellan to be able to live the same way. However his family is still around and still against him being gay. Emma comes up with a plan to send Keelan to Lake Como to sell her father's home he only went to once. But she has really hired an escort with Elite to keep him company. However when Kellan gets to the home and finds someone already there he never would have expected his daughter's teacher to be there waiting for him. He has been attracted to Abby's teacher forever but needed to hide him being gay. Will the two men give in to what has been burning the school year? Will Conner be able to ignore his "do not date a student's father" after his last mistake? How will Emma react when she finds out who she set her husband up with? Will Abby be ok with the change? Will they be outed? Oh this one was good!
Book 10 Rhys Everly, MM Milo is taking care of his grandmother he calls Queenie, but he is currently behind on the bill. He needs a job quickly from Elite in order to not get her kicked out. He has to pay for the whole year at a time but it is the best care for her memory issues. Suddenly he gets the lead on a job and this one is huge. He will be married for a year, but the pay will help him immensely. Keaton needs to find a partner. He is about to be voted off of his position at work and needs to find a spouse to prove his idea works. As much fun as the two have, will people really believe them as a couple? Keaton is a billionaire and Milo is a regular Joe. But Milo knows what makes Keaton tick and the two get outed sooner than expected. So what will happen to Keaton's company? Will Queenie be safe? Will Keaton throw it all away for Milo? LOVED this story a lot.

Book 11 Sarah Zane, FF Savannah was married to Darren and her ex husband is now selling a story that she is hooking up with her drummer Connor. She is a country star and her husband has wanted to out her forever and this is what he is making up to get out. However if Savannah was to cheat it would not be with a guy, she is gay and has been hiding it all this time. She needs the Elite to hook her up with someone to make this go away. She needs to decide what she wants to do. She decides to go ahead and let Elite find her someone but she never expected for it to be Maya.... Maya is someone she worked with on a television show but they have a falling out over misunderstanding. Maya is not thrilled to learn who Elite has set her up with. But she is going to milk this for all its worth and come out on the better side of this deal. But first they have to train with someone to act like they are a couple. Will they kill each other first? Will they be able to fool everyone? Will Darren win and make Savannah look like a fool? or will Maya and Savannah team up to make him look bad? Nice story and I will have to check some more from this new to me author.
Book 12 Saxon James, FF Margot and her brother is all she has left. While going to check on him to make sure he is still alive, she finds him contemplating working for a company called Elite. She is worried that he may be setting himself up for a serial killer so when she sees that he has been given an offer, Margot goes in Perry's place. However the job she goes on pretending to be Perry that woman is expecting a man, not Margot. Elle sent a request to Elite to have a man sent to her door to help her with her family. Elle is trying to decide if she wants to see Margot again or not. But Margot is attracted to her and agrees to come back the next day, just to be her friend. But after meeting Margot this is too much for her and she wants to try and help Margot. Will she be able to help Margot? How long can she hide from Perry, what she did? Will Elite find out what happened? Will things go from friends to more??? Loved the snark in this one... fun read!
Book 13 VL Locey, MM Paul is a NHL player, captain of his team and he has won the Stanley Cup. He is now up for an award but does not want to go to the award show alone. His PA has given him the business card for Elite and told him to use her name. When he finds out that is how she met her wife he decides to think on it. He does not want to go to this award show alone because his ex boyfriend, Marshall, will be there with his new beau, a russian goalie, Maxim. He allows his PA to get him a date for the whole event. Roth has been fired again. But at the same time he is received into Elite and has been hired for a job if he accepts. When he sees what it is he frantically tries to find someone to take care of his dog. Unable to find someone he calls to deny the job but he instead is offered a ticket to bring the dog as well. To say that Paul is stunned when he meets his date would be an understatement. He asked for conservative and a brightly dressed, twink of a man shows up with a dog in matching outfits... Soon Paul lets lose with his heart and realizes his PA knows him too well. Will Roth embarrass Paul? Will the other hockey players be ruse to Roth? Will they decide this is more than the 4 day weekend and award show? LOVE LOVE LOVED this one!

Liam and Matthew grew up as next door neighbors. There has always been an animosity between them. What started off as one prank leads to another then another until that is all there is between them. Matthew now runs his own company he developed from an idea for an app, a very successful company. But with a retreat to Hawaii planned for the employees and their spouses he can't be the only one there alone. He decides to use the Elite Connections services to give him a fake boyfriend for the week. Imagine his surprise when that fake boyfriend ends up being non other than Liam, his childhood nemesis.

I loved watching this one play out. Liam and Matthew were just what the other needed in so many ways. Guess there is that fine line between love and hate and they were walking that line most of their lives!

I love when anthologies are out in the world for the reader. It’s a chance to preview new authors that you might never have found before. And I especially love when an anthology is put together to benefit a great cause. “Elite Connection Anthology '' is a collection of thirteen LGBTQ+ stories that all focus around the Elite Connections service which I loved and I enjoyed this collection so much.

Power Pose by Emily Silver

It’s no secret how much I love Emily Silver’s writing and I was so happy to discover that her novella is a sapphic story. Raven is an absolute powerhouse of a businesswoman and I loved how she ran her investment firm. She would help small businesses that were woman and/or minority owned. And when a lesbian owned travel company came up for sale, she made that her next opportunity. Blair is an assistant prosecutor and is trying to help the world in any way she can. She also is the guardian to her younger sister and works tirelessly to pay for her schooling. When the opportunity from Elite Connections comes in, she can’t say no.

I loved Blair and Raven from the start and was so excited to read about their arrangement. Both were passionate about their careers and the family members that they were close with. You could tell the beginning and it only grew as they spent time together in Italy. I love how they connected on the small things and then went deeper as time went by. Raven really listened to Blair and was able to show her things she might have never seen before. Blair is a genuine woman and I loved how she helped Raven achieve her goal of being able to buy the travel company. Once these two gave into their feelings, the chemistry went from hot to sizzling. It might have started temporarily but they quickly realized they had a chance for me. The ending was so sweet and I hope we get more from them in the future.

Mastermind by Erin Zak

This was the first story I’ve read by Erin Zak and I can’t wait to go back and read more. Roberta is a planner for the Elite Connections and was specifically requested by the client to be her date for a masquerade party.

I loved the secretive situation that Roberta was in and how it escalated. The client knew she could trust her and gave her everything she needed. Alison Grace is a huge pop star who has all the fame but has to keep her secret of being a lesbian out of the public. The masquerade parties helped her find her freedom in who she was and still maintain her celebrity status that she worked incredibly hard for. I could feel their chemistry as I read and loved when they finally gave into the desires both were feeling. The steamy scenes were incredibly steamy and just showed how much they needed each other. Since it’s a novella, it’s short and I hope that we get an extended story for Alison and Roberta soon.

Each story centres around a couple who have somehow had a link to a super secret agency that helps rich people find things they need at any given moment be that a date to an event, help learning how to woo their crush, someone to help with security among a long list of other things. There are a number of different lgbtq+ couples in these pages.

Each individual story is its own glimpse into the worlds each author creates and helps to introduce authors to new readers. I myself have found a number of new authors who I’ve never read from before within the pages of their stories and I will be adding some of their back catalogues to my ever growing TBR list!

As a whole this anthology will make you laugh, make your cry, have you jumping around with the butterflies and having you roll your eyes and go seriously just talk to one another! I loved each story and meeting new characters. When I finished this anthology I felt joy and uplifted that those characters got to live their true authentic selves and find their HEA

Most of these short stories were a hit with me. A few missed the mark because they needed more depth, more emotional build-up for the relationship, and just more.

Hired by the Enemy by Jax Calder was very easily my favourite. It’s silly but not OTT, perfectly sweet and spicy, and just a really fun read! Matthew and Liam had great chemistry and seeing how they had both matured and ended up being super protective and supportive of each other was so wholesome. I loved their story!

This is a wonderful collection of LGBT+ stories from a great group of authors, some known to me and some new.
I liked that the first story starts with one of the people who built the Elite Connections company. Ana Ashley wrote a fabulous friends to lovers romance with characters who appeared in her Chesterfalls series but it doesn't matter if you have read that or not as it stands alone well.
Each story I have read covers a range of different tropes and they are all pretty low angst, though there may be a trigger or two in one of the stories but each starts with the blurb and intro to what is coming up.
A highly recommended collection of romances that leave you with all the feels as people who would never have met if not for Elite Connections find their HEA.
