Villa Berghinz was built for the Berghinz family in the late 1920s in the Lido of Venice, at a time when the fashion of sea-bathing spread all over Europe.
The Lido became one of the most exclusive seaside resorts: here members of the European aristocracy and the international smart-set met each summer to enjoy the sea-bathing as well as the treasures of art in the nearby historical center of Venice.
