Genecia Alluora: Hi and welcome to another episode of Soul Why Secrets of these Soul Rich Woman Blueprint. I'm honored to spend this time with you, no matter where you are listening, whether it's on your way to work or you're sitting in your office working on your business dreams, or even if you are driving around in the car with your kids sleeping at the back of the back seat. Hey gorgeous! Welcome to today's episode. Today I want to share with you that even millionaires have money blocks and here's how to deal with them. Now I teach money blocks because people assume, and of course people assume that I have perfect relationship with money. That's not true.
In my experience, talking to entrepreneurs at all levels about their success. Money blocks are an inevitable part of being in business.

Genecia Alluora: Not even millionaires and multimillionaires are immune to the occasional freak out about money, and if they are growing rapidly, they will hit their self on self-imposed limits regularly. Now that's good news and bad news, right? The good news is that you are entirely normal, and the bad news is that you'll never fully be able to clear your money blocks completely. Now, dealing with money blocks, the even better news is that it doesn't really matter that much. You can learn to recognize them, dance with them, and move on, all while increasing your income to the new levels. Now, how do you know if you have money blocks? Here's an example of my all money personal money blocks that keep coming up for me. And by the way, I love sharing my vulnerability and my feelings with you so that you know that I'm not perfect and you get to hear the real side of the business and all sorts of shit at all.

Genecia Alluora: So if you want some someone who is like, perfect, you know, prim and proper to learn from, then I'm not the person to learn from. So one of my recurring money block is making money cannot be easy. It has to be hard work. Now, way back then, this money blog keep coming up to me. When I first started charging my clients, I had given away a bunch of sessions in return for testimonials, but I knew that I had to start making actual money if I wanted to make my business survive. And my husband was starting to make noises about me getting a job or a backup job, or even my father was just asking me to do that just in case it doesn't work out. So I had to pull up my big girl panties and charge a package sessions of six sessions. That was about maybe $40 to $60 each. Nothing groundbreaking, but it felt comfortable for me. And immediately I had this feeling of, can I really help people with their problems and they will pay me. Now that seems too easy. It feels really weird, uncomfortable, and I feel like I'm just not right.

Genecia Alluora: Clearing my money blocks has been an interesting journey. I came from a family where people work for a living and, you know, they clean things, they build things, they mix stuff, organize people on you. You know, kind of like the 9 to 5 jobs. But this doesn't seem like a real job. It felt too easy. And the fact is, I get a lot of pleasure of helping other people. And after my first session with a coaching client, I had this amazing feeling of like, this is what I'm meant to be doing. But anyway, I did some money clearing work on it, and as soon as I was, as soon as I was done with that, I was loving my client load and the money I earned. Yay! I increases, I increase my prices after that over the next year without too much drama. And honestly, I thought that my income would just keep going up forever. Well, so I thought so. Money blocks at every level in my business keeps coming up again and again and again. Whenever I'd hit a new plateau, nothing would shift it.

Genecia Alluora: And I'm like, are you serious, universe? I'll be like blaming the universe. Why? Why do I have to keep working on myself all the time? I thought the last time we worked through it and we cleared the bullshit, well, this time it was clear to me that I need to keep working at myself at different levels of my business. And this time I was. It was when I created my first ever group program. Instead of working with people 1 to 1, I decided to teach everything I knew in a six week online course. Instead of teaching individual sessions, I cut my workload drastically, but still make great money by grouping clients together. The members loved it and it was cheaper for them than working me with me one on one. Although I did that, I felt really terrible because I felt like I was inauthentic. I felt like, why? Why am I feeling so hard? My all money block says it cannot be easy to make money. It has to be so difficult.

Genecia Alluora: But again, using the tools which I talk about in my Soul Rich Woman Blueprint, and you can learn it in my Soul Rich Woman Blueprint bootcamp, I worked on those feelings and my income started to increase again. Well, until the next time. So my personal money sabotage is very real. Even from the sunny side of Singapore, it is definitely real. It doesn't choose races. It doesn't choose your religion, doesn't choose your colour. No matter whom you are, it will come back to you. The money sabotage. Now, the first time I ran my Soul Rich Woman Blueprint, it was a total stress. I had to justify my hours, you know, kind of not sleep, burn the, you know, become an owl, burn the candle and kind of work through midnight. And I was still creating handouts and so many things during the last minute before I sent out. And I got very little sleep during the period. I'm sure you've been there because it was so much work. I felt like I earned the money. It's true. This is seriously, I'm not joking. When I work very hard, I felt that I earned and deserved the money. If I got it easy, it felt like it was undeserving. And I don't deserve this money, right?

Genecia Alluora: So after all, I lost sleep over it. I didn't feel very good about myself. I kind of get on this guilt trip on repeat. So when I turned the course into a home study version, suddenly it wasn't that much work and I didn't want to do that. Anything that was way easy and anything that was really doesn't require so much work. I didn't want to do it at all. I will kind of procrastinate because my inner money block was blocking me. Everything was created so easily. You know, you sit down, you press the button, you record it, you edit it. Once it's done, you put in the worksheets and all you need to do is just marketing the program. And it felt like it was cheating because it was so easy to get it done, and it was so easy to make money, and it didn't feel right for me that it didn't require a lot of effort, a lot of blood, a lot of sweat, a lot of tears. A lot of sleepless nights. And I knew that even though the material was great and the results are phenomenal, it felt too easy for me.

Genecia Alluora: So yes, the personal money sabotage is real. Every time someone bought the Soul Rich Woman Blueprint, I felt like screaming, wait, let me come to your place and let me help you open it and do the exercises together. Come. Five, six, seven, eight. Go! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Kind of like you're getting me and letting me and allowing me to earn your sale by doing the something. So, yes, this is my old friend. My personal money sabotage. Hard work. Money takes hard work for it to be earned. And that comes from the space. When? Because I had to work in support myself through school since I was 14 years old. And let me tell you, it's not easy dealing with this crappy stuff because it started and it was so ingrained in me in such a long, long time. So don't beat yourself over your belief system. Your money sabotages just because it has been indoctrinated in you for the longest time, so it's not such a big deal to start clearing this stuff. Well, you have met me. You have found my podcast, you have found me. So it is time for you to work with it. Especially when you have the support of a mastermind.

Genecia Alluora: However, it always feels rough to begin with the same old feelings. This is too easy. And how can I make money when it's not hard? You might get these feelings when you make your first e-book sale, or when you're working on your sales page. With the dream of passive income dancing in your head, it's probably why you procrastinate and sabotage your success. Even though you are getting what you've always wanted as a soul rich woman. Fabulous freedom, financial independence and a happy family. You know what? I think we humans are so weird. So you have to keep working on your money blocks. Perfection is not the goal. You are not working towards a complete absence of money blocks. You have to learn to move through them regardless and keep moving forward. Your personal plan of sabotage will pop up on your head regularly.

Genecia Alluora: New level every single time. Mine comes around every six months or so, every time I hit a new income plateau or income flatline. And even though I teach money blocks, I still don't have a perfect relationship with money. And even though I have multiple seven figure businesses, I'm still not immune to the money crap. I'm sure that I'll freak out when I get close to $1 billion sales or business, because the devil will tell me is too easy, right? The difference now, of course, is that I can get out of it much quicker because I have trained my muscle, build my boundaries, build my defense system, and be able to maneuver at a quicker rate. I no longer have to wallow in self misery and spiral out of control going down into the rabbit hole. Now, if you are just starting out, you might think that I'm just crazy. You might be thinking that once you get to seven figures, your life will be perfect.

Genecia Alluora: You will be perfect? You'll still be you, just with a bit more money. Interesting? So you have to think about your recurring money blocks and what they might mean to you. In my experience of working with thousands of entrepreneurs over the years, there are seven common ones and I'm sure you can find them in my other episodes. Now, there are four ways to bust through your money blocks. Here are four ways to shift your money mindset and work on your money blocks. Number one, write down your biggest money blocks and then go through the list, taking time with each one and asking yourself, is this really true? Most likely you'll discover a lot of self-sabotage hiding in the list. Number two, book out regular time each week to look at your money blocks and assessing whether they are really true or not. Focusing on this regularly will help you to get to the next level more quickly and easily.

Genecia Alluora: Number three hunt down any sabotaging behaviors. Notice where you are hiding away or feeling guilty. Look for a tendency to procrastinate, launching or otherwise sabotaging your own success. Number four. Add a mindset expert into your team, including working with someone like me to release your money blocks, and it's okay to pay for that kind of help. And I think it's super important. Now, and to help you to crush this situation and get to the next level of your business, remember, you have a step by step guide to recognizing and dealing with these common money blocks. And don't let your blocks come up again. And don't let it tell you that you're not meant to be rich in a rabbit hole spiral downwards. Just say, hey, there you are.
