NO-NONSENSE TECHNIQUES TO ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS! Claude Bristol's tough-minded, hard-hitting message remains as fresh and focused today as when his books were first published, when the subconscious mind was less understood. Times have changed since the late 1940s, but ambitions have not, and millions of Americans have drawn on the no-nonsense techniques described in The Magic of Believing to reach their dreams and achieve success. Obstacles have become a thing of the past, when they were "blasted" with Bristol's powerful book, T.N.T.: It Rocks the Earth. Adhering to his corner- stone philosophy on the power of believing, T.N.T. offers practical suggestions on how to accurately and scientifically proceed to get what you want in life. In these 2 great books, you will learn:
  • * How to project confidence
  • * How to impress your subconscious mind
  • * Why a focused aim leads to achievement
  • * What your appearance reveals about you
  • * The mental secret to success.
  • * How to transfer your thoughts to others
  • * To have a power at your command that astounds
  • Let the wisdom the author imparts, infiltrate both your conscious and uncon- scious mind. It's time to shift into high gear and forward motion, as you commit to your greatest and highest purpose. The late Claude M. Bristol was a lawyer, lecturer, investment banker, and foreign correspondent. He is the coauthor of the long-time best- seller, TNT: The Power Within.

Mitch Horowitz is a historian of alternative spirituality and one of today’s most literate voices of esoterica, mysticism, and the occult. Mitch illuminates outsider history, explains its relevance to contemporary life, and reveals the longstanding quest to bring empowerment and agency to the human condition. He is among the few occult writers whose work touches the bases of academic scholarship, national journalism, and subculture cred. Mitch is a writer-in-residence at the New York Public Library and the PEN Award-winning author of books including Occult America; One Simple Idea; The Miracle Club; Daydream Believer, Uncertain Places; and the forthcoming Modern Occultism. He has discussed alternative spirituality on CBS Sunday Morning, Dateline NBC, NPR’s All Things Considered, CNN, Vox/Netflix’s Explained, VICE News, and seasons I and II of AMC Shudder’s Cursed Films, an official selection of SXSW. Mitch hosted, cowrote, and produced a feature documentary about the occult classic The Kybalion directed by Emmy-nominee Ronni Thomas and shot on location in Egypt. The movie premiered as the #3 documentary on iTunes. Mitch plays a newscaster in the forthcoming Paramount feature thriller My Animal directed by Jacqueline Castel, an official selection of the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. Mitch has written on alternative spirituality for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Time, Politico, and a wide range of ‘zines and scholarly journals. Mitch’s books have appeared in French, Arabic, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Korean, and Portuguese. He is censored in China.

Simply another (earlier) version of the book “The Secret”. Good advice, especially if followed. Will share this easy read with others.

The writer gives endless examples of things that occurred in the late 1800's and early 1900's. The idea of a positive attitude is key, but the examples are not appropriate for today.

It's based on a new age belief that we can believe our way into whatever we want, and that simply does not follow the natural law of the universe. The proponents of this book made post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacies in believing this book made them successful.

If you are prepared for a huge shift in your life and are willing to follow Claude Bristol’s simple step-by-step principles then, if you’re like me, plan to be amazed. I discovered this book whilst watching a video of an old TV program, Biography. In the video, comedian Phyllis Diller tells how this book became Liberace’s bible and after reading it, his career skyrocketed, along with her own. I read The Magic of Believing twice and I use the Bonus book at the back, TNT: It Rocks The Earth, as a quick daily incentive. What I find particularly interesting is the book was written by a businessman and not one of today’s so-called motivational gurus. Written in 1946 it’s still popular with anyone interested in improving their life. Caution: for results, you must follow the simple, easy steps.
