Purchase options and add-ons
One drunken night and one case of mistaken identity turn a friendship inside out...
You’ve seen the hockey twins around campus--they look identical, but you can tell them apart by their actions. Patrick is the one who’s busy charming women. Paxton is the one in the library.
Until one night when Paxton parties a little harder than usual. Next thing he knows, he’s waking up naked next to Naomi, the girl of his dreams. He bares his heart before an awful realization sets in. He’s not the twin she thought he was...
Naomi is the only child of a hockey legend. Partying hard is the best way she knows how to rebel against her controlling father. After a particularly crazy night, she realizes her big mistake. Her hookup isn’t the guy she’s been crushing on. It’s Paxton, her friend, the guy who gets her, who she can always count on. The guy she’d never want to hurt. And yet, the sex was good. Better than good.
Now she’s wondering if the wrong twin might be the right one after all . . .

- Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2021Paxton and Naomi
He’s always played second fiddle to his brother, on the ice and off. She’s a people pleaser caught between what she’s told she wants and what she really does. Can they both break out of their shells and be who they are destined to be?
This book was so good! There were times I wanted to throw the kindle when they were dealing with their parents, and times I was metaphorically sitting on the edge of my seat as they struggled with their own feelings. I really enjoyed that they both had to figure out who they were and not just one of them. It’s so age appropriate to be unsure of themselves. I really think it’s important that this book showed Naomi trying to change her physical appearance to be wanted and that Paxton makes it a point that he likes her better when she’s her natural self. Such an important message! Paxton and Naomi’s love story is a nice twist on the friends to lovers trope and definitely one I enjoyed reading. It was also super fun to see some familiar faces.
Watching the push and pull between Paxton and Patrick makes me even more excited to read Patrick’s story now! If you haven’t already... go get this book... you won’t regret it!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2023Okay the book was good; but I couldn’t relate to the characters. Probably because it was to frustrating. I felt like both characters were all over the place emotion wise. Overall the book was a good read. It was well written. I just couldn’t fall in love with the characters like I did with the others.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2023It was a good story! Some of the sibling related dialogue was a little cringey though. Felt like it was constantly mentioned that they were twins, and called each other “bro” way too often for actual siblings, but it was a cute story and had a good, well foreshadowed ending!
(also cringed anytime a woman is referred to as a “female” but that’s probably personal preference)
- Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2021Naomi has had a crush on Moo U hockey player Patrick. Forever! And that’s part of the problem. He IS a player! Paxton his twin brother has been her best friend forever too. She’s even complained and cried to him about his brother, all the while Paxton has had a crush on Naomi and SHE doesn’t See HIM! Until one drunken night, His dream of being with Naomi comes true! Until she realizes she slept With the wrong brother! She slept with Paxton her BFF, not her long time crush Patrick. Or did she?? The night was sizzling and gives her much to think about . It’s confusing but she’s drawn to both for different reasons Tired of living in his twin brothers shadow, Paxton, through some advice from his coach, starts to emerge as his own man. Playing stronger than ever before. Is THAT why Naomi has a sudden and more intense interest in him? Or was it there all along. Either way he can’t get that one perfect night out of his head. Because the heart always wants what the heart wants. Great story! Can’t wait till the next one!!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2021I enjoyed reading more about the Graham twins! Paxton and Naomi are friends, and then they have possibly the most embarrassing encounter possible... but is that the end? I’m glad to report that it isn’t! With a highly unconventional getting together, they still manage to move forward, building on their friendship, figuring out who they really are and what they want, and that I feel was the best part about this story... they were believable as college kids finding their own identity, going through the often painful process of moving away from the most familiar relationships and habits, be it in ref to their families, professional aspirations, or even their own self image.
That said, it’s a nicely paced book, with plenty of hockey, and plenty of heat. A good addition to this series!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2021This is a sexy sweet read bout two friend who have a drunken hook up. Naomi best friend has an identical twin. Paxton is hockey player for moo u he is in love with Naomi problem she thinks she loves his brother until the fateful drunken night that opens her eyes. Now she needs to figure out her true feeling. Both controlling fathers . Although Patrick and Paxton’s is the abusive . These two are the perfect friend to lovers moistened identity . I did love this story the best as it did tie in The Seattle’s Sockeyes hockey team and some the team from those series . Really enjoyed this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2021This series has been absolutely awesome! Each character has had such a great story but I truly love Pax. For someone who’s been in his brothers shadow all of his life, and been treated like a second-class citizen by his own father he is so strong, loving and caring. Can’t wait for more. On another note whoever the author has proofread her book should be fired. There were so many grammatical errors was distracting. Wrong words, omitted words, Misspelled words… Just another luck.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2021Couldn’t wait for more Moo-U books, and this story of the quiet, studious Graham twin did not disappoint. Paxton and Naomi have been friends since freshman year. While Paxton always wanted more, Naomi was crushing on his twin Patrick. A drunken case of mistaken identity might just be the best thing that ever happened to these two, as Naomi figures out just who her heart really beats for. Loved this story!

3.0 out of 5 stars "Be careful with what you wish" - Naomi, Gametime
Okay so 3 stars because I think the development of the book was weird, kind of. It seemed that they were never together, always something coming between. Words didn't mean anything for them sometimes which is not nice. Everybody kept giving the worst advices ever (Ice's was terrible, focus only on hockey? Please). All the characters kept saying always the wrong things. Talking trash for them all the time, and they listened..
Their fathers were insanely bad (this is just a comment though, their hard relationships with their fathers were crucial to the couple).
Patrick is one of the main reasons I didn't quite liked the book. He is so bad, like really a prick. Crude and unbearable. Which is not the reality. In Patrick's book we see that he is not like that. He is actually a very nice guy. I blame this divergence on the different authors. They should have worked more together to come up with a character that looked the same in both books. I was a little bit nervous with the twins since I started this series because I knew they would have their own books and it would be extremely hard for them to be connected and without differences. The basics and some the details were the same in both books, but I am talking about the personality and energy of the character, totally different. If I had read this book first I don't know if I would have wanted to read Patrick's book after. I personally hate characters that give you that vibe, so rude and always putting Pax down.
Regardless everything it was good to get to know Pax and Naomi. Pax's journey was something beautiful to see. Someone seeking for his own identity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Twin story
I loved Paxton in slaphot. His identical twin Patrick is the star of the hockey team. Naomi is his close friend but she has a crush on Patrick. The story is about how both of them mature and change and discover who they are.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting
Interesting story about goals and what you need to do to prove yourself and what you need to give up. It's pretty easy the solution, but how is too much? Can you prepare in advance to live your adult life without your twin? Can you get the goal and the girl? I remove 1 star because I though there was too much of angst between the twin. And the fact the twin try with the girl even when he knew his brother wanted her.... total zero for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great read, I couldn’t put it down
I read overtime first and it doesn’t really matter which way round you read these twin books, I would recommend reading Gametime first - but a fabulous read all the same either way.
I just loved the book, couldn’t put it down! I love Jami’s book and again another brilliant read set in college. Not my usual reading and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Working my way through the Moo U books now.
