Bill McBride had a stroke in May 2025 - at which time it was identified that his Kidney function was low but manageable.
In late October 2025 Bill fell ill with lethargy and anemia and after a doctor visit was sent to the hospital where life changed forever.
He was diagnosed with ACUTE KIDNEY DISEASE - dialysis started that week in the hospital and when he was sent home we were hopeful that dialysis would be temporary. He made lifestyle adjustments, lost 50lbs and did his best to ensure a positive outcome.
Unfortunately, a lifetime riddled with extremely high blood pressure had done its work on his kidneys and was later diagnosed with END STAGE KIDNEY FAILURE which means a future filled with permanent dialysis or a kidney transplant.
We are currently looking for a LIVING KIDNEY DONOR - while he is O+ and a blood match would be great, it is NOT necessary as transplants are routinely done through an Organ swap that usually involves multiple patients and everyone’s life gets saved.
We are in the early stages of this search but if you are interested please fill out the form below and let us know. We will reach out directly to discuss further.
