Deuce’s First Step is a children’s book offering hope and healing for kids impacted by parental incarceration.

Inspired by my experience as a child of an incarcerated father (and the #FirstStepAct), the story follows Deuce, who struggles with his father’s absence and learns to rebuild his life, step by step, with the help of his best friend Scarlett.

This book is for the 5 million+ children of incarcerated parents, letting them know they are seen, supported, and not alone.
