Behike Sensei Kevon Simpson is a Jamaican Afrotaíno Medicine Man, a Shotokan Karate black belt, founder of the Entheogen Integration Circle (NYC), and co-founder of The Light of Iris Afrotaíno Yucayeke. He is from a matrilineal lineage of Jamaican spiritual healers. As a Behike specifically, he is initiated through ‘dieta’ into the path of curanderismo, the ancient sacred healing plant medicine path of the Amazon Rainforest.
For guiding deeply transforming Ayahuasca ceremony, he was initiated in Pucallpa, Peru during an accidental solo sit (it's a funny story), and then later in Iquitos from maestros Javier Arevalo Shahuano and Jessica Ramirez Seopa through dieta. He has dieted with Aloe, Chiric Sanango (male and female), Una de Gato, and more during his stay. He calls on these plant spirits to assist in healing his tribe during every ceremony.
During his second dieta and extended stay in Peru he was initiated at the heart of the sacred Grandfather Medicine's culture, Chavín de Huántar, in front of The Lanzón, at an archeological site for shamanic initiation of healers of ancient times aligned to the Pleiades star system. A process of transformation, after which one is know to become a "Jaguar". He was initiated by Maestro Victor Martin Loarte Valenzuela who grew up at the site and is one of its guardians. It is because of this that Hauchuma will always be a medicine he carries.
Later in the same trip, to extend his Ayahuasca training, he met Maestro Santos Muñoz Sanchez a powerful Shipibo Onanya, who allowed Sensei Kevon to live with his family and learn from both him and his medicine mother Maestra Ascencia, who called Kevon her third son upon completion of his dieta with Ajo Sacha, and Katawa, which are extremely powerful master plant spirits.
Sensei Kevon has jungle stories for days, but didn't stop his training there, and has applied this dieta way of thinking to high dose mushroom work beyond the 20g range, made possible by "dieting" other brain enhancing fungi.
On the conference stages and more, as a psychedelic revolutionary and leader of change, he has worked with the top organizations in the field Chacruna, Horizons, and MAPs in that regard.
Please book a month or two in advance due to the high demand of his service, that has been afforded by the blessing of lineage he has received.
Last but never least, Sensei Kevon deeply honors and thanks, the founder of Oklevueha Native American Church (NYC), Mother Little Owl, for teaching so many urban shamans how to fly and dream big, without her guidance, he would not be the man his is today.
His shamanic course is on the horizon.
