You're working with a client who has an outdated brand. How can you help them modernize it?
Always consider what your brand's current/desired role in culture can be. Developing a brand that can thrive in today's marketplace, requires a richer and deeper understanding of the various roles that the brand can play within dynamic, multi-faceted, fast-moving cultural contexts. Investing in research to take the current pulse and envision what's possible for your brand is paramount.

How can you foster a sense of team spirit in your employees?
More than just communicating a vision, it is important that the entire team is engaged in exploring what that vision can mean for them individually and what becomes possible TOGETHER as a result of fully engaging that vision. Too often visions are expressed, but no time is invested in developing and deploying what I call a Vision Engagement Strategy.

How can you build a successful career in Creative Strategy as a freelancer?
To succeed as a freelance creative strategist, it's important to have an intimate and clear understanding of your strengths. Assess your skills and experiences. Keep a living diary of your successes. By knowing in what ways you add value, you can position yourself in a way to potential clients in a way that makes that value easily evident. When the value you deliver and your strengths are clearly evident, the desire to work with you is more compelling.
